Episode 107: JAMIE MOCRAZY From Coma & Paralysis to Thriving with Professional Free Style Skier
Jamie "MoCrazy" Crane-Mauzy is a professional free-style skier based in Park City, Utah.
Following a near-death accident in April 2015, Jamie suffered a traumatic brain injury and was comatose. Not only did doctors believe she'd never recover - her death certificate was written.
However, through the unconditional support of her mother, Fruit, and sister, Jeanee, Jamie made a full recovery - cognitively and physically - and she now devotes her life to spreading awareness for brain injury survivors, advocating for their caregivers, and sharing her inspiring story of perseverance.
In April 2021, on the anniversary of her accident, the love of Jamie's life proposed to her, replacing that fateful day with a brighter memory, truly showcasing the full-circle moment that the last six years brought about. The couple will wed in May 2022.
